From 01/01/2011 all diesel sold at Inverness Marina will not contain up to 7% biodiesel or FAME (fatty acid methyl ester).
This gas oil with no FAME content will be much better for marine engines as there is less risk of bacterial growth when fuel is lying for long periods of time in the boats tank.
